I quit my day job!

 I'm sorry I have been gone for a week. I have been finalizing everything at my corporate job before my last day and I have been swamped trying to prepare everything at home. Today was my first day working from home, and I feel like I can finally breath easier.

So what does your first day working for your self look like? 

I got started making my office for my new shop.

In an effort to be as transparent as possible I will say I have no spare room in my house. We have a tiny 2 bedroom starter house my grandfather built (which I love to pieces), but it lends no room for extra space.

That being said my office/studio is a converted closet in our guest room. 

I know, I know, stunning right? A messy desk in a dingy, dinged up closet. 

I don't know about you, but I don't feel inspired  here. I also can't imagine that our guests would like looking at all my supplies haphazardly thrown about. 

I did a really quick refresh before we have guests in a week. 

Painted the walls, and made a raw canvas curtain to hide supplies. 

I will be doing a few tutorials as I make shelves, and custom art for the space.
