     Hi hun, welcome to Picket Fence Prints blog! I'm Mary, an independent artist and wifey. I started this blog to keep track of my journey as I start my own shop. I want to inspire others and hopefully show them that they can do the same.

    I am currently working as an artist at Anthropologie helping make their displays. I have been incredibly inspired by all of the independent artists they employ and buy from.

    I wanted my first post to be a little about me and I thought there was no better way than to show my top 3 favorite displays with Anthropologie so far.


         I think my #1 would have to be the holiday windows. They are always so much fun to create                                                           and I love the detail that goes into them.

These are still some of my favorite windows we have done. They were my first windows at Anthro. and I think because of that they will always hold a special place in my heart. 

I love that my work with Anthro reflects my independent style and I am so grateful to be able to have such a creative freedom with the displays. 

That being said #2 would have to be the Palate headboard!

                                              Last but certainly not least #3 our skylight.

I loved balancing out the textures of the hammered metal with the soft macramé. What I did not love was trying to photograph this bad boy.    >.<
